Before I started to learn Spanish with Marianela I could understand a little bit, but after less then 20 hours I could actually speak! She was very patient and helping me overcome all my difficulties. The lessons didn't feel like boring at all, I enjoyed a lot!

I loved my spanish teacher in Cuba. It was my first time again after some years of not practicing speaking spanish, and she helped me to get it going again. I especially liked that she really listened to what i wanted to learn and how she brought eductaional materials with her to class that corresponded with my interests. I wanted to learn about urban agriculture in Cuba for example and she brought me texts about it; she also connected me with people she knew that could help me find the information and the places i was looking for. It is a luxury of having a teacher all for yourself, and the good thing is that it is also good for the teacher!
