The house is located in the area Vedado, which is around ten minutes from the city centre if you go by taxi. It is really easy to get a taxi. Calle 23 (a big street) is just around the corner, and a taxi ride cost around 6-10 CUC. Negotiate about the price.
Furthermore, Mirta's niece and son speak English and are very nice and helpful regardless the issue.

Casa Particular molto accogliente, stanze molto grandi, comode ed eleganti. Mirta è la migliore proprietaria di casa, colazione abbondante con frutta e succhi sempre freschi tutti i giorni. Sempre disponibile per qualsiasi esigenza, custode notturno, quartiere molto tranquillo, la vera Habana!
Había estado en la mansión la Orquídea hacía unos 6 meses, y me habia enamorado, he visitado Cuba más de 6 veces, y desde que descubrí la Mansión la Orquídea, esta se ha convertido en mi casa en la Habana!
Esta casa es un pequeño tesoro en el corazón de Vedado, está muy bien comunicada (al lado de 23) y es realmente encantadora.
Las habitaciones son impresionantes, muy muy amplias, tranquilas, exteriores, y fresquitas.
La calidad de las estancias y de toda la casa es impresionante, de verdad. Una exquisita mezcla de decoración antigua/colonial con las intalaciones más modernas, camas amplias y súper cómodas, aire acondicionado silencioso (split), y yacuzzi, todo de lujo.
El servicio, la limpieza (impecable), los desayunos y el ambiente son incluso mejores.
Un abrazo muy muy fuerte a Mirta y Alicia, las anfitrionas, siempre atentas, dispuestas a ayudar en todo y a hacer de mi estancia la mejor experiencia, son magníficas, me aconsejaron muchos sitios nuevos para ir y me solucionaron muchas cosas que necesitaba para el viaje! Son encantadoras, se nota que les gusta lo que hacen, la casa cada vez esta más linda y confortable! no paran! por ejemplo, la encontré toda recién pintada! Una experiencia fantástica, cada vez mejor! Seguiré repitiendo!!

The Casa offers 3 bed rooms of different standard. First we stayed in a room with a spacious bath (shower and whirl bath) and later in a small bed room with also a quite small bath room. The furniture is antique and the rooms are clean.
The breakfast is served in the back garden which is really nice and quiet. The breakfast consists of a very strong coffee, bread with cheese, fruit plate, fresh fruit juice and eggs of your choice.
There is also a dining room and a living room full of old antiques and porcelain.
A little tip - right across the road there is a non stop fast food restaurant with some tasty particular things, I'll try to look for it and review it separately;)

Le garantizo que van a estar comodos en esta linda residencia, a nivel de la comida, pues exquisito todo. Las senoras que atienden se esmeran para que todo este impecable, si necesitan una transportacion a cualquier lugar, esta disponible la Sra. o cualquier otro empleado para llevarlos donde ud. desee.
Esta bellisima casa esta situada en el famoso reparto de el Vedado, donde estan todos los entretenimientos y muchos clubs de elegancia total.
